2007年了,好快。
不敢想你已离我们远去有两年有余了，而我们没见面已有若干年了，感觉你是远在美国，而我们遥不可及。只是我们无法得到你的消息，或许你很快乐，亦或许你不如意。
真是好快，我们都已步入中年，而我们的儿女也渐已长大。而少年时代的情景还仿佛就在昨天。
就在昨天，我和老严，还有一位小学女友聚了聚，说起以往的点点滴滴，都觉得非常的亲切。严还是非常的健谈，可能是男士不显老吧，在他脸上依然青春洋溢，说到生动处，他还是一如即往的激动，手舞足蹈的，没变吧？
记得我们以前通信谈的最多的同学也是他呢，而我也是因为你的缘故才和他走的挺近的。

You still steal into my mind, especially in the holiday seasons. You are like a long-term friend, nearby but also distant.
Still don’t want to come here to see you, ‘cause still feel that sadness, chill, or that poignant urge of tears-bursting. Still can’t face the fact that we’ve lost you.
Just went to a ski trip recently. Wore that ski vest specially catered for you, with that cute snail and the ski club logo. People were interested and asked, “Nice! Where do you get such a thing?”
I smiled lightly. Touching gently the edge of the warm fabric, I replied in low voice, “from old friends far away”. It was such a mixed feeling. So many things to tell—that sad story about you and that group of friends, but just too heavy. I held it. Let you be in our heart, gently. Let you have a good sleep.
